"Wait, I Changed My Mind."

Red State reports that Nancy Pelosi has pulled a 180 on her vote against immediate withdrawal in the House last week:
Just 12 days after, she and 402 other House members voted against an immediate withdrawal in Iraq. Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi endorsed the Democratic proposal for immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq.

According to Reuters, Pelosi now supports Congressman Murtha's call for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. As if Pelosi's Kerry-like flip flopping on the war in Iraq was not bad enough, the leader of the House Democrats said she believes a majority of House Democrats "clearly supports Mr. Murtha."

No wonder a majority of the public believes the Democrats' criticism of the war is motivated by partisan politics, not because they believe the criticism will help the war effort.
Personally, I think that Pelosi has been for immediate withdrawal all along, she just didn't have the gumption to stand up for her opinion when the debate actually came to the floor. It's much easier to defend your position if it's not questioned and you don't have to debate it.

Rep. Murtha illustrates this with his latest false characterizations of the Army in yet another plea for immediate withdrawal.
